Day 8 at Foundation Jimenez diaz Hospital.

Thursday,
I have already since 2 days pain in my stomach. I was thinking with more sleep and a paracetamol will it have to get over, but it wasn’t so easy as that. Thursday evening I lay in bed, and it was hurting so much that I was looking for some medical help. I coudn’t find a doctor. So I took my ID and insurance card and I walked to a police station for help. Once there it hurts some more. I was asking for a Dutch speaking doctor, but those were not there. I was thinking that they were calling an Englisch doctor, but they were calling 1-1-2. 2 minutes later was there an ambulance with flashing light and sierene. But they only spoke Spanish. They bound me on the stretcher, and under police escort we drove back to the Foundation Jimenez diaz hospital. Once there, after 10/ 15 minutes, they put me in a wheelchair. They did some general tests with me, like measuring my blood pressure, blood tests and feel my belly. The results were good, but they are thinking of an infection or food poisoning.
The hospital give me some painkillers and advice. At half past two (night) , I was out of the hospital.
I didn’t sleep that night. I could that night finally vomiting, that was a relief.
This evening (17-07) the medicin will work, so the pain slumps.
If I'm feeling better tomorrow, then I go to the Court. And Sunday to a bullfight.

Nou ben blij dat je je wat beter voelt zeg..ook alles wat je eet eerst goed wassen ,ook als je het schilt zoals een sinaasappel , er zit altijd wat vies aan de buiten kant dat je naar de binnekant brengt , ook al gebruik je een mes. dat is met alles.... nou hoop dat je er weer helemaal bovenop bent om naar court te gaan.
Pas op voor springende bulls...HAHAHA -

Some story Cliff. You did the right thing in looking for help. Fortunately, it's nothing serious. Nevertheless, stomachache can be very painful in case of food poisoning. Didn't one of the girls accompany you? By the way, they aren't that forthcoming like yourself - I haven't seen their blogs yet. Could you ask them when I can expect to receive any news from them?
I don't know if I will be in the position to respond to your posts as of next week as I am leaving for France on Wednesday and I don't know if I will be having full access to the internet.
How are the classes and the internship by the way? Is your English already improving?
